Exosomes are tiny, membrane-bound vesicles released by cells that play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication. They transport proteins, lipids, and genetic material, influencing the behavior of recipient cells.
Independent characterization includes dynamic light scattering at UT Arlington and mass-spectrometry proteomics at UT Southwestern. The laboratory reports on the order of 50 billion exosome-sized particles and more than 3,000 unique biomolecules per vial, with lot-level documentation. Manufacturing, as the laboratory describes it: ISO Class 3 cleanroom with ISO Class 7 support; AABB-accredited, FDA-registered U.S. cord banks; tissue from live, full-term, scheduled C-section births; third-party USP <71> sterility and USP <85> endotoxin on each batch before 21 CFR 1271 review.
